Montana is a registered Primary Care Paramedic currently working for the City of Calgary. She started her medical journey in 2013 when she attended the Emergency Services Technology program at Lakeland College for firefighting.
She followed that up with getting her Primary Care Paramedic diploma through Emergency Services Academy in 2016. Montana has had extensive experience working in both hospital and industrial work sites since 2013.
Growing up in rural Alberta, she developed a passion for animals and was heavily involved in riding. In her spare time, she continues to be an avid equestrian, nature lover, athlete, and has a passion for travel and new experiences.
As someone with 25% Gwitchʼin heritage, she is thrilled to be welcomed onto the Adventure Canada expedition team to continue exploring this beautiful, diverse world we live in.
