Mike, or Zim, as his friends call him, is a prairie boy who started his career in Saskatchewan over twenty years ago, working in the television and film industry. Most notably, working for broadcasters such as The Discovery Channel, A&E, and Smithsonian, and even shot a silly horror movie called WolfCop.
Since then, Mike has uprooted his life and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he continues to film mostly non-fiction material. Mike recently worked in Nunavut, helping the Inuktitut CBC station with their programming. Even though he was close to Greenland at that time, he has never been.
