Growing up in a military family, Jen has gotten used to being on the move. She spent a lot of her younger years travelling with her family across Europe and North America. After attending Carleton University and graduating with a degree in sociology, she decided to stay in Ottawa and begin her career there.
Jen fills her days as a Business Development Specialist in the insurance industry and her nights running a successful photography business. Her passion for photography started on board the Ocean Endeavour when she completed the Newfoundland Circumnavigation expedition in 2016.
At home she gained experience through sport and concert photography and now is one of the main photographers for the National Arts Center in Ottawa. She has photographed everything from professional and national sports teams to big acts like Sarah McLachlan, Alessia Cara, and International dance companies.
From her first expedition in 2016, Jen fell in love with expedition travel and looks forward to returning each year to meet new people and share new experiences with everyone on board!
