Tina is a senior geologist whose strengths lie in balancing assessment with economic recommendations. She has twenty-six years of diversified experience in oil and gas exploration, development, reservoir management, mining exploration, and teaching.
Most recently, Tina has focused on teaching. She has taught international students at the college level and voluntarily established and taught a geology program for elementary school students.
In her role as a senior geologist, Tina has been responsible for developing play types within the Western Canada Basin, working in both clastic and carbonate environments. Her expertise includes petrophysical, stratigraphic, and structural interpretation of formations and reservoirs, integration of production and waterflood data, conducting risk assessments, and making recommendations for land purchases and potential exploratory, infill, and horizontal drilling locations. She has a proven track record of adding oil and gas reserves through regional play trend mapping, prospect generation, and detailed pool assessment.
Her recent projects include analyzing the potential of the Hudson Bay Sedimentary Basin. Additionally, in mining exploration, Tina manages a team tasked with exploring and mapping uranium. She compiles mapping, laboratory analysis data, geophysical data, and other information to complete maps, write reports, and define potential uranium targets for the development of drill programs.
