Krista has been working as a paramedic in Alberta for the past ten years. Her work has taken her to many beautiful places and offered her many opportunities, but few have been as thrilling as this one with Adventure Canada. Krista began her career in Jasper, Alberta, and eventually settled in Edmonton where she has been serving Edmonton and the greater area since 2014. Krista works part-time in the city of Edmonton and will complete her Bachelor of Science at the end of 2022.
In her free time, Krista likes to hike, rock climb, and travel! When she gets to a new city, one of the first things she likes to do is go for a run, and then find a coffee shop to sit at afterwards. She recently returned from Greece, which was the first time she’s left western Canada since the pandemic. Just before that, Krista was in Hawaii camping and hiking with a friend. They slept on the beach and hiked to volcanic peaks.
At home in Alberta, Krista and her partner Rhys enjoy travelling on weekends to rock climb in the Bow Valley and Kananaskis area.
