Keara was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, where she grew up spending time with her three older brothers on family adventures. Some of her favourite childhood memories include time spent on family canoe and camping trips in Algonquin Park or at the family cottage in Muskoka.
Keara studied Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. During the summers and after graduation she lived in Lake Louise, Alberta. It was here that she got hooked on hiking and grew her love for the mountains, exploring a new peak almost every day. She returned home with a renewed passion for the outdoors and an ever-growing list of places to see and peaks to climb. It was this passion that led her to Adventure Canada.
On a typical day, Keara can be found hiking, camping, paddling around her home, or planning her next big adventure - most recently including her trips to Peru (Lares Trek to Machu Picchu) and Europe (Tour du Mont Blanc).
