Gani was born and raised in Malawi, commonly known as the warm heart of Africa. He is a chartered accountant by profession and a member of both Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA - United Kingdom) and Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA) holding a bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, in the United Kingdom.
Gani worked for General Motors in Malawi as head of finance for over ten years before relocating to Canada. During his time in Canada, he has worked for Cardio Study as head of finance and now with Adventure Canada.
He loves travelling and exploring new places. So far, Gani has travelled to over twenty countries having explored four different continents – Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa – and looks forward to exploring more.
Gani can speak Portuguese, Chichewa, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati.
During his spare time, he loves playing soccer and watching the English Soccer League, which he has been doing since the age of nine. Most recently, he has been coaching both his son and daughter in preparation for their indoor soccer season.
