Biinia hails from Nuuk, Greenland and is the most content anytime he can put his hands to good use, whether it’s working as a Helicopter Maintenance Engineer or hunting and fishing for food.

Biini is 24 years old and was born and raised in Greenland’s capital, Nuuk. Growing up in Nuuk, he was taught how to hunt and fish, while utilizing the different benefits of natural resources, with his father serving as his greatest teacher.

Therefore, being able to perform practical work with his hands has remained important to Biinia, which is why he loves working as a Helicopter Maintenance Engineer for Air Greenland. His daily work consists of servicing search and rescue, charter, passenger, mining, and sling helicopters.

Biinia’s passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature has never changed, which is why he enjoys spending as much time as he can out in the wild, drying, smoking, and harvesting meat. He then like to supply this meat and any other found natural resources to his large family. Biinia even lived off the catch he caught a couple years ago, going out into the ocean with his own boat, but now he has chosen a life on land. Although, the ocean still means a lot to him and his way of life and will always serve as a great source passion.
