Steph Gooch

Steph’s passion for travel began at age sixteen during an Outward Bound expedition in British Columbia. This formative experience sparked a lifelong pursuit of exploration, challenge, and connection. Since then, she has sought out journeys that combine physical adventure with cultural immersion, shaping her perspective on travel as a powerful tool for personal growth and shared understanding. 

She has explored some of Canada’s most iconic backcountry routes, including the West Coast Trail, Juan de Fuca Trail, and Chilkoot Trail. While living on the West Coast for five years, Steph embraced mountain life and snowboarding, often travelling in a van to access remote landscapes and off-the-beaten-path experiences. 

Steph’s curiosity has taken her around the world, from a year living in Australia to extended travels through India and along the coastlines of Central and South America. Having visited more than twenty countries across five continents, she is a strong advocate for sustainable travel and meaningful cultural exchange. Steph enjoys connecting with fellow travellers and believes the most memorable journeys are rooted in shared experiences and genuine human connection.
