Sim is an Inuk born and raised in Iqaluit. He enjoys spending time on the land and fishing any time of year.
Simeonie is the owner of two companies based in Iqaluit, Nunavut: Northern Border Studios, a film production company, and Midnight Sun Leather, a shoemaking company specializing in modern Inuit craftsmanship.
With a diverse background in both the arts and film industry, Simeonie has contributed to well-known projects such as North of North, Outlander, Slash/Back, Qanurli, and Anaana's Tent. Simeonie's work reflects a dedication to both storytelling and preserving Inuit cultural traditions through craftsmanship and film.
