Pétur is an Iceland expert guide with twenty-five years of experience touring in and around Iceland. He is especially keen on birds, geology, and photography, and is also a Zodiac driver.
Born and raised in Iceland, Pétur has spent over thirty years in the tourism industry. For the past twenty-five years, he has worked as a tour guide across Iceland, the last twenty years as a driver guide, and the last ten years aboard expedition ships.
He is deeply curious about the world and strives to understand it in a meaningful and profound way. His passion for birds, geology, and photography has shaped both his professional and personal life.
For the past two decades, Pétur has been chasing and capturing the northern lights with his camera, always in pursuit of nature’s most spectacular moments.
