Kaili Avarmaa

Originally from a small town north of Kingston, she now calls Montreal home after years spent in Calgary. While having a background in project management in the construction industry, she has always felt the pull of exploration. Inspired early on by her Opa, a pilot, and her aunt in the airline industry and an entire side, generationally, of seafarers.

Over the years, Kaili’s curiosity for adventure grew through solo backpacking, road-tripping through North America, and hiking everywhere in between. More recently, she has been drawn to learning about history and genetics—curious about tracing her roots through Germany, Sweden, and Estonia. At the same time, she’s thrown herself into understanding more about Canada, especially the Arctic, which she now gets to experience in her role at Adventure Canada as an adventure specialist and client service representative.

Her reading list is filled with global perspectives and grows with every conversation; she loves that learning is infinite!

Kaili’s true passion lies in connecting with people! Whether it’s through cheesy antics, thrilling adventures, or those awe-inspiring quiet moments, she loves finding unique ways to engage and make people feel at ease. With her love for trying new things and a “Jack-of-All-Trades” approach, Kaili’s goal is to always create moments that are fun, memorable, and a little outside the box, whether it’s with guests or her team.
