Julie Huttemann

Born in northern British Columbia, Canada, Julie has since lived all over Canada, Germany, and Nicaragua, among other places, and has most recently moved to Toronto. As a newer member of the Adventure Canada team, she’s previously worked on board large passenger ships, on land for a rail vacation company, and in the digital tourism sphere. Julie feels most at home in the mountains or at sea.  

Julie believes in being a lifelong learner and reading great books. Her interests are all over the map and include amateur astronomy, camping, rug hooking, geography trivia, and tennis. She’s passionate about the environment and staying up to date on current events. On a typical weekend, Julie can be found visiting a new restaurant, exploring Ontario, and trying out a new bread recipe.
