A passionate Inuk versed in the social, linguistic, and economic happenings of the Arctic and keen to share his interpretations about the human aspects of the places we visit.
Jason grew up in Kangirsuk, Nunavik, and has spent his career in many fields. He has worked in economic development, overseen Nunavik’s post-secondary student sponsorship program, and has taught Inuktitut in classrooms.
Jason happened upon expedition cruising twenty-plus years ago when he unexpectedly saw the MV Ushuaia sail into Kuujjuaq while he set out to go fishing. Surprised to hear that Inuit were getting into the industry, he inquired and soon found himself working aboard.
