Bethea Clarke

Bethea feels very fortunate to have built a career around her greatest passion—travel. Proud to have been born and raised in Québec, she entered the travel industry in 2006 and has worn many hats, including snowshoeing, hiking, and canoeing guide, costumed historical interpreter, entertainment team member aboard cruise ships, and operations manager for an adventure travel company.  

She has guided trips in eight of Canada’s ten provinces and believes the most rewarding journeys are the ones that create meaningful connections with people, cultures, and wild places. She’s thrilled to be part of the Adventure Canada team, where curiosity, community, and exploration are at the heart of every expedition.

Bethea is endlessly curious about the stories that make every destination unique. Having travelled through over 70 countries on six continents, she loves learning from local communities, discovering regional food traditions, and finding the experiences that transform a trip into something unforgettable. When she isn’t travelling, she enjoys running, beach volleyball, camping, hiking, downhill skiing, and cooking for people—because she firmly believes that sharing good food is one of life’s greatest joys!
