Andrew is a filmmaker and creative entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling and exploration.
On board, keep an eye out for wildlife, and also for Andrew, who’s just as likely to be spotted with a smartphone in hand as the narwhals are to surface. As founder of Loveseyland, a studio and ventures company, Andrew builds brand worlds for institutions and founders, alongside delivering a slate of free public-benefit tools.
His career began in media, writing for The Globe and Mail, National Post, FLARE, and ELLE Canada, before spending twelve years at Canadian Geographic and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, eventually serving as director of digital and video. Andrew is a Fellow, and a recipient of the Society’s Quest Medal, for his involvement in the expedition to locate the wreck of Shackleton’s ship.
His documentary credits include Returning Home (2021), with Guardians of the Land and DreamMachine currently in production. Prior to founding Loveseyland, Andrew led the digital practice for Canada’s leading public affairs and strategic communications firm, Navigator.
