Allison calls Winnipeg home, with her husband, two teenage sons and their Labradoodle. After graduating from a college travel program, Allison ventured off to Australia for a year of working and exploring. Her love for expedition travel came after sailing the Northwest Passage and the Antarctic Peninsula.
Allison spends most of the time in hockey rinks, curling rinks, and baseball diamonds cheering on her sons. During downtime, interests include golfing, curling, and snowshoeing. She enjoys taking the newest family member, her puppy Maggie Mae on walks and hikes. Allison also graduated from the 200hr Yoga Teaching Program and teaches one class per week.
Whether at home or abroad, Allison tries to eat and support local whenever possible.
