Hailing from Anchorage, Alaska, Crystal brings a wealth of diverse experience and passion to her role as assistant program director. With an extensive background in guiding and hospitality across some of the world's most breathtaking regions—including Alaska and Antarctica, and now Greenland and Arctic Canada—Crystal is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for her fellow adventurers.
Crystal's journey began with a deep-rooted love for nature and the great outdoors in her childhood home of Pennsylvania where she spent most of her time outside. This passion has led to a varied career, including working as chase crew for a hot air balloon company in Arizona, selling delicious pastries at a bakery in Guatemala, leading group tours around Alaska, teaching yoga amidst the stunning landscapes of Antarctica, and providing massage therapy in the serene Boundary Waters of Minnesota. She has now visited over forty countries and counting.
An avid practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, Crystal believes in the power of connecting mind, body, and spirit, especially amidst the serene backdrop of nature. Whether leading a hike through the Alaskan tundra or organizing an educational workshop on a ship, Crystal ensures every journey is enriching, inspiring, and deeply connected to the wonders of our planet. Dedicated to the transformative power of travel, she is thrilled to join Adventure Canada in promoting conservation, education, and cultural empowerment in remote and incredible regions we travel.
