Apprenticed at age sixteen in his native Scotland, Bobby was head-hunted at 21 to come to Canada and help build the Carrara marble on First Canadian Place in downtown Toronto.
Since then, he has risen to the rarified ranks of being one of the most respected stonemasons in North America. He is the President of his top-ranking Heritage Masonry company, RJW Stonemasons, who have spent the last thirty plus years restoring historic buildings and monuments all over Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
Bobby is also an accomplished musician and storyteller who has performed all over the Northern Hemisphere either solo, or as part of bands such as Cromdale and Ecosse to audiences from forty to forty thousand. He is also a certified SCUBA instructor and coxswain, and loves all things aquatic.
