Submit up to three photos showcasing your favourite travel moments which capture the spirit and culture of Adventure Canada during the 2022 season for a chance to win up to 3000$ USD, off any 2023 Ocean Endeavour expedition of choice (excluding Antarctica, subject to cabin availability).

Who Can Enter

• To be eligible to submit a photo entry, contestants must be travelling on an Adventure Canada expedition during the 2022 season (June 1st - October 9th, 2022).
• Employees of Adventure Canada are ineligible.

Contest Rules and How to Enter

• Contestants may submit up to three photos of their favourite travel experiences and moments with Adventure Canada during the 2022 season.
• Photos must be sent directly via email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Spirit of Exploration”.
• All photo entries must include:
• A caption describing the moment, location, and the expedition on which the photo was taken.
• The full name of the recipient must be included upon entry.
• Photos must be relevant to the theme “Spirit of exploration,” highlighting Adventure Canada’s spirit and travel culture.”
• Our favourite photo submissions will be selected to enter the next stage, where a voting contest will occur. The three submissions with the most votes will receive a prize.
• Entrants will be notified via email if their photo has been selected to move onto the second stage.
• Photo voting will be available to the public. Therefore, entrants may share a link to encourage others to vote for their post to increase the chance of winning during this contest stage.

Terms and Conditions

• By entering, entrants agree that any image and caption submitted to the photo contest can be used for promotional purposes, online on social media, and in print form by Adventure Canada.
• By entering the contest, an entrant indicates their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• By entering, entrants represent and warrant
  • they own the picture submitted
  • It does not violate the rights of any third parties. No lewd, nude, crude, or offensive photographs will be accepted. Adventure Canada reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entry if they violate these rules.
• This Photo Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with any social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on.

The Prize(s)

• The first prize winner will receive $3,000 USD off any Ocean Endeavour trip of their choice (excluding Antarctica, subject to cabin availability). The second prize winner will receive $2,000 USD off, and the third prize winner will receive $1,500 USD off any Ocean Endeavour trip of their choice (excluding Antarctica, subject to cabin availability). This prize is combinable with any Adventure Canada promotion.
• The winner(s) will be contacted directly through email and will have ten days to accept the prize. If the first-place winner does not respond within ten days, the prize will go to the second-place winner and so on.
• There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for any prize. The winner may transfer the certificate to a friend or family member if they cannot utilize the prize throughout the 2023 Ocean Endeavour season.
• In claiming your prize, you acknowledge that Adventure Canada has the right to publicize your name, photograph, and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial payments.
• Adventure Canada reserves the right to make changes to the contest, including but not limited to contest rules and dates.
