Pre-Voyage Information:

For those joining in St. John’s: An Adventure Canada Welcome Desk will be available at the Alt Hotel St. John’s in the afternoon on July 7, 2024. We recommend that you visit the desk to check in and pick up your name tag and baggage tags.

On the morning of July 8, 2024, we will meet for the transfer to St. John’s International Airport (YYT), where we will embark on the charter flight to Saint-Pierre Airport (FSP). Detailed information regarding specific locations and precise timings will be provided closer to your expedition and in your final package, which will be sent approximately one month before the departure date.

To ensure flexibility in your travel plans and to accommodate any unforeseen changes, we strongly advise booking fully flexible and refundable flight tickets.

For those joining in Saint-Pierre: To ensure a smooth start to your journey and prevent any delays, we suggest arriving on July 7, 2024, or earlier. Your embarkation onto the ship is scheduled for the afternoon of July 8, 2024. Specific details about the time and location will be outlined in the joining instructions you'll receive approximately one month prior to your expedition.

Once all on board the Ocean Endeavour, we will have our guest orientation and begin the Newfoundland and Wild Labrador: A Torngat Mountains Adventure!

Post-Voyage Information:

Disembarkation and Charter Flight: On July 22, 2024, we will disembark in Iqaluit, Nunavut. There will be a complimentary transfer to Iqaluit International Airport (YFB) where we will fly to Ottawa International Airport (YOW).

Transfer: Following the charter flight, there will be a one-time complimentary transfer available for all guests to the Fairmont Château Laurier on July 22, 2024. Further details about this transfer will be provided by the on-board team near the end of the voyage.

Departure: We highly recommend arranging your onward travel for July 23, 2024, or beyond, to minimize the risk of missed connections, given the frequent delays resulting from the unpredictable weather conditions in the Arctic.

Hotel Booking Instructions and Terms & Conditions

To add optional hotel nights to your booking, contact the Client Services Team or your travel agent. These rooms and rates cannot be booked directly with the hotel. Please note, these rooms are subject to availability and the option to book hotel nights through Adventure Canada is only available until 30 days prior to your trip’s departure.

If you book extra nights directly with the hotel in addition to your Adventure Canada reservation, inform us, and we'll notify the hotel. Although it is not guaranteed, we will request that you have the same room for the duration of your stay.

Hotels offered through Adventure Canada require full payment at booking. If cancelled more than 120 days before departure, $50 USD per room is non-refundable. Within 120 days of your trip, hotels are non-refundable. Please note that hotel bookings are not eligible for Future Travel Credits. For more details, refer to Adventure Canada's Terms and Conditions.
