Wildlife Encounters
An eye-to-eye moment with a wild creature in its natural habitat is pure magic—a privilege that stirs your soul and shifts your perspective. It’s not just about the thrill of the sighting, but about finding a deeper connection to the wild and carrying that inspiration home.

Wildlife spotting is often a highlight of our expeditions, but the far-flung places we explore mean animals can be elusive and unpredictable. Our expert guides take you where sightings are most likely, but luck is always a factor. Colonial seabirds may be reliable, but polar bears, muskoxen, walrus, and beluga require some good fortune and patience.
When wildlife appears, we’ll get you as close as possible. We’ll even alter the ship’s course if necessary. But we always keep a safe and respectful distance. After all, it’s their home and we are the visitors.
A single moment shared with a wild animal can leave a lasting imprint, like a tattoo on the soul. It’s these fleeting, extraordinary experiences that remind us we’re part of something much bigger and we share some responsibility.
This is travel that transforms. This is adventure, the Canadian way.
