We are looking for a persuasive and collaborative Adventure Sales Specialist to join our team. The Role

The person in this role will be responsible for promoting and selling Adventure Canada tours to the general public and to industry partners. Sales are made via the telephone, email, and in person. Sales Specialists are expected to quickly develop an intimate knowledge of Adventure Canada’s product line, as well as general knowledge of the destinations visited on our expeditions. As part of a small sales team, Sales Specialists must be target-oriented, highly motivated, organized. Our sophisticated clientele requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills. We are seeking a natural leader who is creative, energetic, and sales driven.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of sales experience with high success rate
  • Creative, energetic, reputable sales personality
  • Working experience selling to sophisticated/affluent clientele
  • Experience working with multiple currencies & agent commissions is a definite asset
  • Working experience with b2b and b2c
  • Impeccable public speaking, interpersonal, written, and communications skills
  • Customer service-orientated
  • Experience hosting information nights, attending trade shows, and company events
  • Strong working knowledge of online booking systems, Mac OSX computers, website sales chat platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced level of understanding of Microsoft Office suite and 365 Microsoft Exchange
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Comfortable in a small office/family business environment; adaptable to a variety of duties
  • Must be TICO certified
  • Must be able to travel for business
  • Fluency in French & English is a definite asset


Completion of college or university is recommended; however, we are looking for an extremely dynamic sales person whose enthusiasm, drive, and ability to sell and promote Adventure Canada products may surpass formal education!
