Dear Adventurers,
Each year, Adventure Canada is proud to offer travel experiences that engage the intellect and imagination. Travelling, especially in the company of old and new friends, is perhaps the greatest way to explore the diverse histories, cultures and peoples of our world.
This year, Adventure Canada's 20th, we are pleased to offer a very special travel program in Canada and the North. After a few year's hiatus, Adventure Canada is returning to
Iceland and Greenland, with an amazing voyage full of history and vast, untamed landscapes.
We are also eagerly anticipating our epic journey through the famed (and infamed!)
Northwest Passage with one of our new partners, the Canadian Circumpolar Institute, who will help us to even better understand the magic of the Arctic while conducting some research of their own.
Our Walrus Explorer program brings in another new partner,
The Walrus Foundation, as we explore the High Arctic and Baffin Island on our way to Greenland with plenty of smart talk and lively guests.
Also back again is the wildly popular
Newfoundland Circumnavigation, a runaway best-seller that offers an opportunity to visit some of the most remote outports on The Rock, with big helpings of music and friendly faces along the way.
We're offering the same eclectic mix of entertainment, education and exploration, bringing our loyal travellers back year-after-year. We believe learning is more engaging and pleasurable if the mix includes some fun. Through it all, there will be music, art and good friends.
Key to all Adventure Canada does is the remarkable combination of people who make up its staff. Enthusiasm is their secret ingredient. Colourful creative people who are recognized experts in their professional fields of study head up the expedition teams. They blend good basic knowledge and organizational skills with intuition and the desire to get it right. Our lecturers, photographers and musicians will open your eyes to the world around you, and let you see these landscapes in a new light.
Happy Travels,
Matthew Swan
